I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be presenting work at Aap Noot Brood, a neighborhood bakery in Rotterdam West that doubles as an accessible art space.

Aap Noot Brood is more than just a place for sourdough bread and pastries—it’s a space where art meets daily life. Founded by Simche and Vinh, the bakery grew from a home operation in Schiedam to a full bakery on the Schiemond in Rotterdam West. Simche, with a background in art history and years of experience working in galleries, recognized that traditional gallery spaces can feel intimidating to many people. She wanted to create something different: an art space that’s welcoming and low-threshold, where you can sit with your coffee and sandwich surrounded by artwork.

It’s the perfect setting for encountering art in an unexpected way—no white cube, no formality, just work on the walls while you enjoy freshly baked bread. All the artwork is available for purchase and can go home with you the same day.

My golden facials will be on view throughout December, offering a different kind of company to your morning coffee. If you’re in Rotterdam West, stop by—for the bread, the art, or both.
