Objects with Love at Design Miami – Basel 2019

I was selected by curator Connie Hüsser for the Objects with Love presentation at Design Miami/Basel. Hüsser, a Swiss interior stylist and journalist known for her work with Vitra and Annabelle magazine, built her curatorial practice around discovering young talent and celebrating design objects that go beyond convention.

For this edition during Art Basel in Miami, Hüsser brought together an international selection including Bertjan Pot, Sabine Marcelis, Harvey Bouterse, Nick Ross, and Wang & Söderström, alongside myself.

I contributed several clay sculptures among carefully curated objects ranging from hand-blown glass to polished resin. The presentation showcased work that challenges boundaries between art, craft, and design – each piece selected not for marketability, but for its capacity to spark fascination and reveal deep engagement with material and form.
